a) Open conditional (First conditional) :-
Open conditional sentences are sometimes called the ‘first’ or ‘future’ conditionals. Both clauses in a sentence refer to the future, although the verb in the ‘if- clause’ is in the present tense.

We use unfulfilled / Past conditionals to speculate about past events and about how things that happened or didn’t happen might have affected the past events. We use this conditional to express our regret / reproaches or to make excuses.
